Boutique Property Refurbishment & Interior Design, Reading
A complete refurbishment of a large Reading property, reconfigured, redesigned and fitted out to a high specification, with a brief to create something that felt genuinely boutique rather than simply functional.
The property was reconfigured into six rooms with a communal kitchen, four ensuites and a shared bathroom. Rather than approach this as a standard fit-out, every design decision was made with the end user in mind, creating spaces that felt considered, calm and well-made rather than generic.
A contemporary urban theme ran throughout: designer feature wallpaper in key rooms, metal desks and bedside tables, Edison-style lighting and hanging pendant lights that added drama without clutter. Textured tiles and high-quality wood and metal light fittings gave the property a distinctly boutique quality, the kind of detail that makes a space feel genuinely designed rather than merely decorated.
The project was delivered on time and on budget, with full project management by Nested Living from initial brief through to final fit-out.
