The Circular Hub

The Circular Hub: What Happened After the Show
We wrote about the Circular Hub before the Workspace Design Show, how it was designed, why it was built the way it was, and what it set out to prove.
Now the show has closed, we can tell you what actually happened.
The walls were dismantled and resold to a local reuse centre. The cork, which had already been used on a previous exhibition stand, went back to the supplier to be used again. The printed boards and diagrams were retained for two upcoming design exhibitions. The flooring — second life before it even arrived with us, returned to Tate for a dedicated fit-out project. Everything else went back to its original owners.
Almost no trace. Exactly as intended.
Design Insider featured the project this week, and it’s a thoughtful piece that captures both the thinking behind the space and the wider conversation it was part of. We’re proud to be in it.
