A large spacious new build house that needed some interior planning to make it feel more homely. We planned a new layout for the master bedroom and living room.
Working with the Tom Raffield steam bent ply lights already installed in the bedroom we kept to a natural feel with organic forms in the wallpaper and furnishings and contemporary oak furniture with a matching commissioned bespoke media wall. The dramatic high ceiling meant that we kept to a neutral colour palette with bright pops of colour in the furnishings, cushions and velvet chairs.
In the living room the client wanted to incorporate her love for the colour green and so using a neutral palette of grey on the walls with tonal greens and taupes in the furnishings we introduced pops of colour in the copper lights, mirror, coffee tables and teal vases. We commissioned a local craftsman Philip Koomen to make the oak media wall which is made from slatted wood and matches the designer drinks cabinet by Nathan Wong.
