Eclectic Interior Design & Styling, Oxfordshire
Some of our most considered work is purely about curation — bringing the right things together, layering pieces with intention, and creating spaces that feel deeply personal without looking decorated. This Oxfordshire home is an example of that: interior design, styling, sourcing and specification, where our eye for material, colour and character does the work.
Lounge;
The brief was a dark, moody lounge — rich and eclectic, anchored by a collection of pieces gathered over years of travelling and living. Every object in this room has a story: a vintage Chinese cupboard, a blown glass chandelier made in Morocco, a bespoke coffee table, a much-loved vintage leather sofa and chairs, vintage mirrors and frames, and an old electricity storage cabinet repurposed beautifully into the scheme.
Props from film sets sit alongside Dan Hillier limited edition prints. Brass accents run through the room as a warm connecting thread. The curtain fabric is Zoffany Icarus Tigers Eye, its layered, jewel-toned pattern holding its own against the depth of the walls. Cushions mix assorted Turkish covers with the same Zoffany fabric, pulling the room together without making it feel over-designed.
The tension between collected and considered, between found and chosen, is what makes this room feel alive.
Our Client’s Daughter’s Bedroom
A teenage bedroom needs to do several things at once: calm enough to sleep, inspiring enough to study, personal enough to feel truly hers. Cole & Son Woodland wallpaper as a feature wall brings the outside in and grounds the room in nature. White and wood modern furniture keeps the space light and uncluttered, while green bedding adds quiet natural colour that doesn’t compete with the wallpaper.
A room she can grow into and one that genuinely supports her.
